Letter to Joie

Dear Joie,
  There are so many things I want to say to you that you just can't understand.  I guess first of all I just want to thank you for letting me be your mommy.  I spent my whole life dreaming about getting to be a mom and having children but I never imagined I would have one as amazing as you.  The second you came into my life, everything changed.  The second I met you I knew I would do anything for you.  I would give my life for you in a heart beat.  I just wish you could know how much I love you. 
  I want to thank you so much for helping me finally understand how much Gigi (my mom) did for me.  I know someday you will finally understand how much I love you when you have a baby of your own.  Hopefully you will also someday realize that everything I do for you is because I love you, even when I discipline you. 
   Thank you so much for loving Daddy so much.  He isn't as lucky as Mommy and he doesn't get to play with you all day long and it makes him feel good when he comes home and you are so excited to see him.  He needs that Joie, because he loves you so much too. 
  I will never know what I did right in life to be blessed with a child like you, but I thank the Lord 100,000 times a day for letting me have you.  You have made my life bright, full of laughter, and full or perspective.  Once you and daddy came into my life, nothing else mattered as much, and everything I did revolved around the two of  you. 
  Last of all Joie, please forgive me.  I promise I will try my hardest to be the best mommy ever but I know I'm not perfect and I know sometimes I will stumble but please forgive me.  Help me to be the best mommy I can.  Please remember that NO MATTER WHAT, I will always love you.

Andrew was stretching before we left to exercise and as you can see, Joie wanted to do everything that daddy was doing...it was so darling.

Joie Lately

Here are just a few recent pictures of Joie.  She is now 18 months and is cute as can be!  She loves to talk, run, play, watch Mickey, and sometimes we get lucky get lucky and she wants to snuggle!

This is for all of you!  I have the best friends in the entire world!  I'm sure I don't express all my love and gratitude enough but this is the prayer I constantly have in my heart for all of you!

I felt the answer in my heart

I knew you wouldn't mind.

I asked Him to send treasures
